Pre-open movers U.S. stock market futures extended earlier losses Thursday after the government reported a bigger-than-expected decline in nonfarm payrolls. See Indications. Global markets European shares declined, with mining stocks among the fallers, as the European Central Bank left its key interest rate unchanged at 1%, as expected. Asian markets ended mostly lower, with investors locking in profits ahead of the jobs data. Broker action Morgan Stanley upgraded Continental Airlines to overweight from equal-weight, citing valuation.
