Glu Mobile cuts losses for the third quarter (5:49 PM ET) SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Glu Mobile reduced its net loss for the third quarter as the maker of mobile games was able to scale back its costs. For the quarter ended Sept. 30, Glu (US:GLUU) reported a net loss of $3.99 million, or 13 cents a share, compared to a loss of $56.9 million, or $1.93 a share, for the same period the previous year. On a non-GAAP basis, the company said its net loss for the quarter would have totaled 3 cents a share for the recent quarter.
