With so many SUVs on the market today, it's easy to get confused about the differences between traditional SUVs and crossover SUVs. What exactly are the differences, and what do they mean to consumers? When SUVs first entered the scene, their tendency to rollover during accidents created a stigma; no one wants to drive a car that tends to fatally injure occupants in a crash. In the years since, technology has improved SUV safety to the point of involving less driver deaths than cars of similar weight. The British born manufacturer Land Rover is synonymous with vehicles that are designed for purpose plus strong, reliable, hard wearing and easily at home with driving off-road in the countryside, as they are in a town. Land Rover's pedigree stretches far back to its launch in 1948, in that time it has made its mark not only in the British motoring industry, but also across the worldwide motoring globe. I'm sure it would be hard to find a country that does not have a Land Rover in residence.
