The number of times that I have driven down a soft beach and had to recover people is more than I can count several times over on my fingers and toes! It's the basic things that you really need to know before you hit the tracks If you own a four wheel drive that has had some sort of modification, there is a good chance you will know that modifications need to be legal. This includes everything from how much you lift your vehicle through to the size of the tires that are fitted, the weight of the vehicle, engine modifications, lighting modifications and much more. If your vehicle is illegal in any way (which many are for one reason or another) then even if you have full insurance the company can often get out of paying for a claim.
