Dana Corp. (US:DAN) confirmed

Dana Corp. (USAN) confirmed Thursday that it named Gary Convis chief executive. The Toledo, Ohio, maker of automotive parts said Convis was appointed to the company's board in January after retiring from Toyota Motor Corp. (US:TM) where he served as chairman of Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky. Acting Chief Executive John Devine will remain as chairman. The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that the move could help Dana solve lingering operational deficiencies that led it to file bankruptcy about two years ago.
