There are many different types of synthetic fluids to choose from, and to use, for your car or truck. These can range from basic oils, to specific application greases, to things like transmission fluid. Every type of fluid that can go in your automobile, or can be used on your automobile, has a synthetic option. A synthetic fluid means that it will outperform normal fluids, and it will mean that they will last longer. Another common misconception is that they tend to be more expensive than fluids that are not synthetic, which is far from the truth.
