tank after 4 months
ok running now fore 4 months, this is how things are.
tank has 4x 150 W HQI phounix + 300W T5 a 1056 GH pump from sump to tank 4x hydor kor. 3 pumps 4x maxi jet 900+ upgrade a 1056 GH pump on SQWD a 1056 GH pump blowing water underneath the live rock up in perferated pipe. the tank holds about 300 / 350 LB live rock + about 210 lb live sand (sugar fine) and about 120 lb in filter room |

filter room
filter room holds one 65 gal sump with skimmer in it, from the sump/skimmer water gets in a 55 gal tank that has about 6 inches of LS and my phosb. react.
from this tank water runs into the main tank. there is a 100 GH RO/DI unit that runs into a 27 drum, feeding the sump fore 2 hour a day on a timer with little air/water pump - I have to fill the drum about each 8 days. biside the sump I have a 28 gal drum taht is fore mixing salt to do water change each 2 to 3 weeks, about 7 % each change ohh, the 55 gal tank also functions as a ref, to catch some of the fine bubbels that are left from the skimmer |
