| filter room holds one 65 gal sump with skimmer in it, from the sump/skimmer water gets in a 55 gal tank that has about 6 inches of LS and my phosb. react. from this tank water runs into the main tank. there is a 100 GH RO/DI unit that runs into a 27 drum, feeding the sump fore 2 hour a day on a timer with little air/water pump - I have to fill the drum about each 8 days. biside the sump I have a 28 gal drum taht is fore mixing salt to do water change each 2 to 3 weeks, about 7 % each change ohh, the 55 gal tank also functions as a ref, to catch some of the fine bubbels that are left from the skimmer |
